Protein kits are ordered by name only, stating whether or not side chains are required for all other kits and units, it will greatly facilitate the handling of orders if the catalogue number is used along with the unit or kit name. When ordering nucleic acids (other than kits) please state which nucleotides are paired and the name and number of individual nucleotides required. Orders will be despatched against an official order number. When confirming orders made by telephone please quote this number, please mark postal enquiries "Confirmation of order". Invoices are despatched, separately, at the same time as the goods and a statement follows at the end of the month in which the goods were shipped. There is a small charge for packing to a maximum of £0.50 per kit and kits are despatched by Air Parcel Post or Air Freight (whichever is the cheaper) unless Surface carriage is requested. The carriage is charged at cost. Average kits weigh approximately 4-5 Ibs. (2 kgs.). Baseboards weigh approximately 7-10 Ibs. (4 kgs.).
